FAQ

Product safety & suitability

Is it safe to lie face-down during pregnancy, and in which trimesters is it recommended?

Most women use it safely in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters because the belly and chest openings remove direct pressure. Start with short sessions and listen to your body. If you have any complications, ask your OB/midwife first.

Will this help with SPD/PGP and related hip, pelvic, and lower-back pain?

It’s not a medical treatment, but many customers feel relief because prone rest reduces pressure on the pelvis and hips. Always follow your provider’s guidance for SPD/PGP.

How does it compare to U-shaped pillows, belly bands, or PT/chiro?

U-shaped pillows support side-sleep; this gives you a comfortable face-down option with cutouts for belly/breasts and spine alignment. It can complement PT/chiro—not replace them.

Can this reduce bladder pressure so I wake up fewer times at night?

Yes, the face-down position takes weight off the abdomen, which often eases that “need to pee” feeling. Many users report fewer wake-ups, though results vary.

I’m a natural belly sleeper—is this designed for me?

Yes—it's built for safe prone rest during pregnancy with openings for belly, chest, and face. Adjustable inflation helps you find your sweet spot.

Fit, sizing & comfort

How much should I inflate it?

Start around 70–80% full and test; slightly softer is usually more comfortable. Add or release air until your belly feels supported without pressure.

Will it fit different belly and breast sizes as I grow?

Yes—the design is reversible and the openings accommodate changing shapes. Fine-tune comfort by adjusting inflation or adding the small support ring if included.

I’m short/tall—will the length and leg slope work for me?

Most heights find a comfortable position by adjusting inflation and foot placement. Taller users can let feet extend beyond the end; shorter users often prefer a touch less air.

Does the face opening keep my neck and spine aligned?

The headrest cutout lets you rest face-down in a neutral position. If needed, place a thin towel under your forehead to fine-tune alignment—avoid turning your head to one side for long periods.

Can I elevate my feet or change the leg angle for hip or rib relief?

Yes—use a small pillow/bolster under your shins or ankles. The gentle slope already helps lift the hips and ease low-back compression.

How do I get on/off safely, and keep it from sliding?

Kneel beside it, lower onto your forearms, then ease your belly into the opening; to get up, roll to hands-and-knees first. Place it on a rug/yoga mat or fitted sheet to prevent sliding.

Materials, care & use

What is it made of, and is it skin-safe?

It’s made from durable, wipe-clean inflatable material designed for daily use. If you have sensitive skin, cover it with a soft sheet or wear a tee while resting.

Can I use a heating pad or cold pack while on it?

Yes—many moms like gentle heat on the lower back; use low/medium settings and follow the device instructions. Avoid placing heat directly on the belly and stop if you feel overheated.

Is it for naps or overnight sleep?

Both are common—start with 20–30 minutes and increase as comfortable. Always change positions if you feel numbness, tingling, or discomfort.

What is the weight limit and durability?

It’s built for adult use with reinforced seams for everyday resting. Normal use and proper inflation will maximize longevity; avoid sharp objects and over-inflation.

How do I inflate/deflate, clean, and store it? Is a pump included?

Inflate in minutes with any standard hand/electric pump (we run promos with a free pump—check the product page). Wipe with mild soap and water, air-dry, then deflate and fold for compact storage.

Extras & life stage

Can I keep using it postpartum?

Yes—many moms use it after birth for back relief and prone relaxation while the body recovers. As always, follow your provider’s guidance if you had a C-section or specific restrictions.
